She never called me ‘Hero’.
I had rescued them from various creatures their frivolous antics had gotten them caught in so many times.
She never gave her thanks.
I listened to her when she spoke, when she cried, when she ended her relationship with that usually generous unicorn.
She never called me beautiful.
I listened to her deepest secrets, her darkest desires, none of which involving me.
She never loved me back.
I remember the day I stopped that avalanche. She never had a chance to thank me, and never will again.
Maybe I had flown into danger one too many times. But I don’t regret it. I could never regret it.
She never called me ‘Hero’.
But that didn’t matter in the end, did it?

Oof, this one hits hard. Poor Rainbow Dash, always there, quietly and without thanks. I like the hints of backstory, that she was in love with Fluttershy (who in turn was with Rarity for some period of time). The last two lines were my favorite, though, so bittersweet yet triumphant and so Rainbow Dash.
