Thirty Minute Pony Stories

It was just a normal day for the Cutie Mark Crusaders. They crusaded. But this was a Scootaloo crusade, and Scootaloo was the opposite of safe.

“What’s this again Scootaloo?” asked Sweetie Belle nervously as the three entered the gates to the zoo.

“We’re going; Pause for a dramatic effect; TO THE LION CAGE TO TAME THE VICIOUS LIONS!”

“Can’t we just pick some apples ur’ somethin’?” asked Apple Bloom.

“No! C’mon!” the pegasus smiled.

As soon as the Cutie Mark crusaders climbed over the fence, the lions began to lick their lips and move closer to the three, becoming more famished with each step.

“Where’s the whip!?” cried Sweetie.

“What do you mean?” Scootaloo questioned backing up to the gate of the exhibit.

“THA’ WHIP YA USE TA TAME THA’ LIONS FEATHERBRAIN!!!!”

“Oh.”

The lions were inches away, about to take a bite when, ZOOM! A gray, thundering cloud zoomed and picked up the girls.

“Oh my Celestia!” said Sweetie and Scoots simultaneously, but for different reasons.

“I’m glad we’re alive too!”

“No! It’s Soarin’ from the Wonderbolts!”

The now smiling stallion dropped the girls off in the middle of Ponyville after a little while of flying. “What were you little dudes doing in their?”

“Trying to tame the lions and get our cutie marks!” Apple bloom smiled innocently.

“Well I’ll only be in town for a few more days, so try not to get in trouble!”

Soon the stallion flew off into the sunset. Sweetie Belle felt her heart pound, her palms sweat, and a bit embarrassed around him. She was in love.

As soon as the little unicorn found out where Soarin’ was staying, she sent a TON of love notes, chocolates, and flowers.

“And then, Soarin’ would slowly look the beautiful unicorn’s way and as he pushed her up Against the wall he-”

A knock on the door interrupted her saucy fanfiction. The stallion of her dreams stood at the door.

“Hello Soarin’!” she sang as she tossed her hair, “Have you gotten my notes?”

He backed into the house. “Um, yeah… Rarity said she needed to talk to me..”

That whore! She thought to herself. I know!

“I wrote you a song…” she smiled as the Wonderbolt backed up.

“I need to-”

But her vocal chords were on full blast.

“Hey, Hey Soarin’! I’m in love with you! There’s nothing I can do! I want to be with you!” she slowly walked closer to him with a dreamy look in her eye.

“Can adults get violated?” he whispered to himself as the song continued.

“There may be an age gap, but we can look through that! We can still have children!”

“SWEETIE BELLE!” screamed Rarity, “I’m sorry Soarin’! Here let me get you a cup of coffe and we can talk while-” she glared daggers at the little one, “Sweetie goes to her room!”

She sniffled and reluctantly walked upstairs to her little bedroom.

“I’m terribly sorry. Now about Sweetie’s infatuation with you…”

“It’s fine. You’re a good older sister to her.”

Sweetie Belle hugged the poster of Soarin’ she found in Hoof Beat Magazine.

“I love you so Soarin’! We will be together one day! The quiz in here said so!”

So a light bulb went off in her head. “I know!”

After a little while of coloring, pasting, gluing, sparklfying, and glittering (No, sparklyfying and glittering aren’t the same thing.), Sweetie held a huge picture of her hugging Soarin’ and him blushing and  “I’m sorry” wrote in cursive stood underneath. Nopony would have guessed it was by a school filly and not a professional artist.

“Soarin’! I’m sorry! Here! I made this-” Sweetie was cut off to the sight off her sister and Soarin’ wrestling on the floor.

RWL’s Commentary

Hehe, Sweetie is pretty persistent in pursuing her crush! The way she flustered Soarin’ so much was really cute and funny, and given the ending it’s easy to see why that’d be so uncomfortable for him. It was fun to see all her attempts at charming him, and the ending was a great surprise. Nice work!
